Welcome back to school! On August 30 we opened our doors to about 65 students in Kindergarten to 8th grade. We have three new staff members joining our team this year, Jim Sovocool, a graduate of Wheaton College, joins us as our 3rd & 4th grade teacher; Amber Mallow, a Penn State Alum, who is teaching 5th & 6th grade; and Cecelia Osowski, our 7th & 8th grade teacher, from Swarthmore College.

During the month of July, LOGAN Hope Summer Day Camp provided many kids and volunteers with an opportunity to experience a "Wild Life" animal-based theme. We served over 50 kids in 1st through 6th grades and had 13 kids 7th through 12th grade participate in our SLT program (Student Leaders in Training).
We'd also like to say a special thanks to the many volunteers from Cheltenham Presbyterian Church in Cheltenham, PA; The Korean Church of Love in Glenside, PA; and The First Korean Presbyterian Church from Manchester, CT. We couldn't have made it through the summer without your enthusiasm and helpfulness, thank you! And also thanks to Kimberly Winters who spent tons of time preparing Arts & Crafts for the campers and Leah Blankenship who lead a few chapels.
