Hello everyone! It’s hard to believe that the holiday season is here! We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving - full of food and family fun. Here at LOGAN Hope, we were very thankful this Thanksgiving for all of the events happening at LOGAN Hope.
So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, the LOGAN Hope staff and students are thankful for:
- Thanksgiving Feast
- Parent's Thanks
- Newly finished yard
- After school and Mission Year
- Volunteer groups
Thanksgiving Feast!
Thanksgiving is very special for LOGAN Hope students. Every student brings a dish and as you can see, there’s more than enough to feed all the students, teachers, and faculty. It’s always nice to have a mixture of Cambodian food and traditional Thanksgiving food.
The kids also made and decorated Pilgrim and Native American hats.
Look at Danny who is showing off the turkey he made from cookies and candy! It looks better than a real turkey and tastes better too.
Parent's Thanks
As LOGAN Hope gives thanks, we want to allow our parents to have an opportunity for gratitude too!
Jeanine Stith is a single-parent of three children living in the Logan neighborhood. Her sons Corey, a 1st grader, and Cecil, a 2nd grader, have been attending the school for a few years. Jeanine is appreciative of LOGAN Hope for two reasons; first of all, she believes that LOGAN Hope shows her children the word Christian in action.
Secondly, LOGAN Hope makes a private education affordable to lower-income parents. Other Christian or private schools would be unaffordable for them and most of our current students would have to attend public schools.
 (Corey and Cecil)
LOGAN Hope and our parents are thankful for our supporters. Your generosity allows LOGAN Hope the ability to serve people of lower income. Our donors help us afford to educate and minister to children like Corey and Cecil.
Sponsorships are available for individuals interested in helping pay for a student's tuition at LOGAN Hope. Sponsorships include communication between the student being sponsored and the sponsor. Please contact

New Yard!
As many of you know, LOGAN Hope has been in desperate need of a new playing area for a while now. The past couple of months the students have had a new outside at LOGAN Hope.
Now each student can run and jump on freshly-laid, artificial grass. It’s perfect for keeping kids clean (no dirt or grass stains) and a soft landing if someone trips. Now our students can have safer, cleaner fun!
After School and Mission Year!
Mission Year team members are back and helping with our after school program. Rachel Barnes (pictured above) teaches art and David Hensold (pictured below) teaches P.E. as well as doing administrative work and after school. We are truly thankful to have
them spending their year of missions with our students.

Volunteer Groups!
LOGAN Hope is continually grateful to those who come to serve our school.
We are thankful for:
